So demand the townsfolk of Lizzie's world the morning after

an abandoned baby foxwanders in through her moonlit window.

When the fox finds comfort on top of the little girl's red head, the pair

become fast friends, despite the townspeople's protests.

Lizzie Fox-Top is the much-anticipated debut picture book by illustrator

Stevie French. Her art has been published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch

and Brick Weekly. Among her previous work is the comic The Remarkable Encounter

of the Mysical Jellyfish, and Astronomy ABC's, which was

written when she was 7 and of which she is still very proud.
